Alive at Five – from June 18 to August 27
Alive at Five is a Summer Concert Series
Bands play Wednesdays from 5-9pm in various outdoor venues around town.
No charge to attend – food and beverages sold by vendors.

St. Patrick’s Day Parade- March
Snow or shine, there will be bagpipes and Irish Dancers.

Farmers’ Market
April 27 through October 26, 2025.
Sat- 9am to 1pm on Fuller St.
Tues- 3-6pm at Main St. Park, East Helena
The longest running farmer’s market in Montana. Includes music, Montana made products, flowers, and locally grown food.

Seasonal Artwalks
February 14; May 9; July 18; November7, 2025. Fridays from 4 to 8pm the greater downtown area is alive with art.

Wildflower Week
May 20-28, 2025
Annual self-guided Wildflower trail on the NE flank of Mount Helena. The Montana Discovery Foundation places small signs on a few dozen plants along the Ambrose and Quarry trails the Bitterroot Meadow area of lower Mount Helena.

Symphony Under The Stars
July 18, 2025; 8:30pm on Carroll College’s campus. Free, or a $5.00 donation to set up blankets in advance. Hang out with 20,000 people, enjoy food truck, drink vendors, music and fireworks.

Montana Clay Tour – July 19 & 20, 2025
Helena-based open studio tour of nearly 40 ceramic artists concentrated in 5 stops.

Last Chance Pow Wow
Annually in late September. Free admission and open to all. Typically in the main exhibit area on the Lewis and Clark County Fairgrounds.

Parade of Lights
Typically held on the Friday following Thanksgiving. Old cars and other floats will parade down Last Chance Gulch and along the Wlaking Mall.

Holiday Tree Decorating on Mount Helena
December 13, 2025.
Helena Parks and Rec allow family tree decorating at the Mount Helena trailhead from noon-2pm.
